School Library Renovations - Fulford, Fernwood and Salt Spring Elementary
Objective: Renovate three school libraries into modern and inspiring learning environments
Scope:
Project management of design, planning and construction phases
Development of project management tools and systems
Consultation with school staff and stakeholders to determine the unique needs for each library space
Interior design layout and furnishing recommendations including wall finishings, furniture, storage and technology
Procurement and overseeing of consultants, contractors, suppliers and trades including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, framing, drywalling, painting, flooring, removals, technology and furniture installation.
Planning of move-out and move-in process, re-use and recycling of redundant furniture and library resources
Implementation of health and safety protocol to meet WorkSafeBC requirements
Coordination of school district maintenance staff work activities and library cataloguing requirements.

SD64 Learning Hub
A Multi-Disciplinary Three-Storey Renovation
Objective: Renovate a closed school into a contemporary multi-purpose facility for staff, students and community events
Scope of services:
Project management of design, planning and construction phases
Consultation with school staff, stakeholders and user groups to determine each team’s requirements, producing a brochure to present the re-purposing and proposed function of each room
Interior design layout and furnishing recommendations for two conference rooms, a reception area, open plan office areas, three classrooms, two new kitchens, universal washrooms and student hang-out areas.
Procurement and overseeing of consultants, contractors, suppliers and trades including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, environmental remediation, framing, drywalling, painting, cabinetry, tiling, flooring, removals, landscaping, technology and furniture installation.
Design and commissioning of bespoke artwork
Planning of school closure, move-out and move-in process, re-use and recycling of redundant furniture and school supplies
Implementation of health and safety protocol to meet WorkSafeBC requirements
Coordination of school district maintenance staff and grounds crew work activities.

Objective: Installation of a new, modern school playground that students feel excited to enjoy
Scope of services:
Project management of design, planning and construction phases
Consultation with school staff, and students to determine how best to provide a fun, safe and inclusive environment that encourages physical activity
Development of design criteria and generation of playground solutions
Overseeing the tender process and selection of the winning bid
Procurement of playground equipment, grounds and landscaping contractors
Implementation of health and safety protocol to meet WorkSafeBC requirements
Planning of playground opening to meet school staffing requirements.
